PJ Taylor Band
PJ Taylor Band hails from the deep south of the Netherlands and plays exclusively original songs in a traditional, uptempo 1960s honky tonk and Bakersfield style - with plenty of twang, swing and rock & roll. The band was formed in 2023 in Landgraaf around singer-songwriter PJ Snijders (Supersonics, The Taildraggers). The songs recall the work of George Jones, Buck Owens, Wynn Stewart and Johnny Paycheck from the sixties.
The sound is carried by two Telecaster lead guitars, pedal steel guitar, upright bass, acoustic guitar and drums. The line-up:
PJ Snijders - vocals & lead guitar (Supersonics, The Taildraggers)
Jeroen Rabeling - lead guitar (Violet's Tale)
Freddy Verleg - upright bass (Batenburg Hellbillie)
Joris Kuijs - pedal steel guitar (ex-Koen Vael, Monkey's Uncle)
Robert Roberts - acoustic guitar & vocals
Pascal Delang - drums (ex-Atomic 4)
