Lovesick (country, western swing and rock'n'roll, It)

Lovesick Duo is a musical duo from Bologna, Italy: Paolo Roberto Pianezza (guitars, vocals) and Francesca Alinovi (upright bass, vocals). Together they play country, western swing and rockabilly - exclusively original songs, with a personal style rooted in American roots music. The duo has been active since 2015 and has played over 400 shows across Europe and the United States.

Their sixth studio album Remember My Name was released on 28 June 2024, recorded in Los Angeles and distributed worldwide via DixieFrog Records (Europe), MGM Distribution (Australia and New Zealand) and Edgewater Music Group (USA, Canada and the rest of the world). To date they have sold over 19,000 physical records entirely independently. In 2024 and 2025 they completed two tours of the USA and were nominated for the Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, Texas, in the Western Swing Band category.

They have shared the stage with artists such as Ben Harper, Tommy Emmanuel, JD McPherson and Zucchero, and performed at festivals alongside The Offspring, Social Distortion, Walter Trout and Ten Years After. They also opened for Zucchero Fornaciari at the RCF Arena Campovolo for 35,000 spectators, and performed at historic venues such as the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento and the Greek theatre in Syracuse. Paolo and Francesca also appear in the film Lamborghini - The Man Behind the Legend, the TV series Speravo de morì prima and the international series about Oriana Fallaci (2025).
