Ruby Electric & La Ratte (Double Concert, Original Works, NL)

On Thursday, 15 October 2026, De Cactus presents a double concert as part of Eigen Werk in Uitvoering, an initiative by De Alliantie Muziekcafés that highlights artists and bands performing original material. La Ratte and Ruby Electric take the stage that evening.

Ruby Electric released their debut singles "Break on Through" and "Rebel" in early 2024, which quickly gained airplay on national radio via K!NK and Arrow Classic Rock. The band performed on RTL4 and opened for Sonic Whip and Leilani Kilgore (USA). In 2025 they recorded their live album "Running in Circles".

La Ratte is a three-piece featuring Harm van Essen (vocals, lead guitar), Jochem Jorissen (drums) and Nikolas Karolewicz (bass). The band plays swamp blues, roots and rock-'n-roll, debuting with the album "Astray", recorded in seven days at Studio De Krakeling in the forests of Zeist. The eleven tracks draw from Texas Blues, Mississippi Hill Country groove and Louisiana Swamp Pop.

Doors open at 20:00, show starts at 20:30. Advance tickets from € 12,50 (excluding service fees, including VAT and Buma/Stemra fees). At the door € 20 (if not sold out). Friends of Cactus Live can log into their account for special tickets.
