Arjan Kleton was a restless and sometimes annoying child - and he remains restless today, juggling work, career, and trying to enjoy life. As a Burgundian, he's perfectly happy, but deliberately childless.

In 'Unwanted', he asks himself: what if a baby suddenly arrives? Or a child appears out of nowhere, someone he never knew existed? 'Kletoni' had quite a wild time as a bartender - it could happen. But would such a child still fit into his life? And was he himself perhaps once unwanted?

With his direct humour and disarming honesty, Kleton examines the almost taken-for-granted desire for children, the rough edges of fatherhood, and whether it's actually desirable to bring a child into this world. For yourself, for those around you, or for the child? And what if your words, jokes, or choices are branded as "unwanted" by others?

Arjan Kleton debuted with 'Raised on the Bottle', was called 'the funniest bartender in the Netherlands' in a review, and that show was broadcast by BNNVARA. He has also appeared on Sophie & Jeroen, ESPN, SBS6 and VPRO, is a member of Knock Out Comedy Crew, and regularly performs at his own comedy club. 'Unwanted' is a try-out.
