Arjan Kleton is a busy man - he always has been. Now he's caught up in work and career, trying to enjoy life in between. This Burgundian is genuinely happy, but childless by circumstance.

What if a baby suddenly arrives? Or a child appears out of nowhere, one he knew nothing about? It could happen - 'Kletoni' had quite a wild time as a bartender. But would such a child fit into his life? Was that child unwanted? Or was he himself perhaps unwanted?

In 'Unwanted', Kleton explores with his direct humour and disarming honesty the almost taken-for-granted desire for children, the rough edges of fatherhood, and our view of the future. Is it still desirable to bring a child into this world? Do you do it for yourself, for those around you, or for the child? And what if your words, jokes, or choices are branded as 'unwanted' by others?

Kleton began his career as a bartender and worked in hospitality for years. After his debut show 'Raised with the Bottle' - immediately broadcast by BNNVARA - he was called 'the Netherlands' funniest bartender' in a review. He is a member of Knock Out Comedy Crew and regularly performs in his own comedy club.
