Maartje Mikx | Ze vraagt erom (Try Out)

Ze vraagt erom is a personal stand-up show about womanhood, sexuality, expectations and the search for love. After her divorce, comedian and single mum Maartje Mikx throws herself wholeheartedly into dating - and takes the audience along for the ride.

With sharp humour, honest confessions and direct interaction, she reflects on childhood memories, sexual adventures and old heartbreak. She plays it straight, makes real contact and challenges the audience not just to laugh, but to feel along with her.

Maartje Mikx has been performing continuously since 2020. She discusses the most explicit details of her dating and love life with an (apparently) naive positivism, so that visitors - sometimes slightly shocked - still go home with a positive feeling. Since 2024 she has been a member of the Knock Out Comedy Crew. Her "Maartje op Maandag" videos with satirical life tips have been viewed over a million times online. In addition to being a comedian and MC, she also works as a conference host.
