Laurens de Groot | HUN
They live on an ordinary street in an unremarkable town. They walk the dog, put the children to bed, go to work - and no one quite knows what the neighbours are up to. For one, life moves far too fast; for another, too slowly. They dream, or perhaps no longer. Until a dramatic event forces them to work together.
HUN is a light-hearted one-man-show by actor, theatre-maker and master storyteller Laurens de Groot. In an ongoing, absurdist costume party, he plays all thirteen roles himself, combining spoken theatre with song, silent performance and visual surprises. Monologues alternate and flow together towards an inevitable climax.
