Keep On Dreaming | Corinne Bronsink — De Theaterbakkerij, Gouda

Please note: this performance is for visitors aged 18 and over.

Growing up in an unsafe family often leaves lasting marks - on personal development, relationships, and daily functioning. Recovery is possible, but requires courage and perseverance. Yet the path to healing is also fraught with obstacles and pitfalls.

With humour, creativity and boldness, Corinne Bronsink shares how the unsafe environment of her childhood affected her life for years to come, and how she recovered from it. It is a partly autobiographical story about shame and pain - confronting, yet also powerful. The performance breaks taboos and offers hope. Recommended for those with similar experiences, their loved ones, and professionals working with people who experienced trauma in their youth.

After the show, there will be a post-show discussion in the theatre and an opportunity to chat in the foyer.
