In 'Guide Micheline - Ma Douce France', Flemish singer Micheline Van Hautem and guitarist Erwin van Ligten take the audience on a journey through French chanson and stories from southern France. Micheline performs songs from the Côte d'Azur and works by Charles Aznavour, Edith Piaf, Yves Montand and Charles Trenet.
Micheline Van Hautem is regarded as one of Europe's leading chanson singers. Her breakthrough came in 2001 with the album 'Songs of Jacques Brel', which sold over 20,000 copies. Concerts followed in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, New Zealand, Australia and the United States. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, she made a strong impression during multiple editions and received the prestigious Herald Angel Award.
