PAX the Humanoid

PAX the Humanoid has been active in the Dutch hip-hop scene for years, both on stage and behind the scenes. Known as the charismatic frontman of the platinum-selling Kyteman Orchestra, he has since released his eponymous solo album - a venture into experimental hip-hop. With pianist Niels Broos and a four-piece band, he performs this material live as a tight, raw show.

Currently, PAX is working on his new album Life Writer. Unlike his earlier work, which he created largely in isolation, he wants to build this album together with the audience - based on real life stories. The process can be followed live via Twitch, or watched later on YouTube.

The project culminates in a mini-tour of ten shows. The songs are performed and each evening PAX translates a spectator's life story live into music, in the form of a fully improvised jam. Life Writer aims to contribute to depolarization by making the person behind the group visible, through music and lyrics.
