Dan Again (Steely Dan Tribute, NL)

On Thursday, 10 September 2026, Dan Again takes the stage at Café de Cactus in Hengelo. This fourteen-piece Dutch ensemble performs the music of Steely Dan - the work of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker - with precision and attention to the complex harmonies and arrangements the duo is known for.

The show marks a debut for two new band members. Drummer Jan Stavenuiter, regarded as one of the Netherlands' finest drummers, handles the Purdie Shuffle and tight groove. Jazz vocalist Vera Westera joins as backing vocalist and percussionist. The horn section is expanded with trumpeter Sander Zweerink.

The programme features classics such as Reelin' In The Years, Do It Again, Kid Charlemagne and Peg.
