This is Tina

Tina Turner, known as 'the Queen of Rock 'n Roll', rose to fame in the 1960s and 70s as half of the duo Ike & Tina Turner. After breaking with Ike, she launched a solo career that made her the best-selling female rock artist of all time - 200 million records sold and more concert tickets than any other solo artist in the world. Her final performance was in May 2009; she passed away on 23 May 2023 at the age of 83.

This is Tina brings that legacy to the stage at CAPSLOC in Capelle a/d IJssel. Maureen Alberg performs as Tina Turner with striking authenticity: voice, presence and energy are spot-on. She is accompanied by two backing vocalists who sing and dance simultaneously, and six musicians.
