Saboah Maluku Music Night

CAPSLOC presents Saboah: the kampong (village) prepares itself, the saboah (a bamboo tent) is set up and the celebration can begin. Saboah is a Moluccan music evening for everyone from Capelle and the surrounding area, Moluccan or not, young or old. There is room to dance to tropical rhythms, have a drink and something to eat.

On the programme is Maurice & Friends, a 5-piece band that plays a broad repertoire: from the 1960s to current hits, in styles such as soul, R&B, dance, disco and Dutch party music. The musicians are also active in other well-known Moluccan bands and the line-up can be expanded with an extra vocalist or keyboardist.

Indigenous Maluku also performs as the second act.
