Jesca Hoop is a California-born singer-songwriter now based in Manchester, UK, known for her idiosyncratic blend of folk, art-pop and experimental songcraft. She grew up in a large Mormon family and worked as a nanny for Tom Waits before launching her music career, later touring as a vocalist with Peter Gabriel. Her seventh studio album, Long Wave Home (2026), marks her debut as a self-producer and has drawn widespread critical praise.
