Gia Margaret is an American singer-songwriter and producer from Chicago who describes her music as 'sleep rock' - a hushed blend of indie folk and ambient. After nerve damage to her vocal cords forced her to stop singing, she turned to instrumental composition, producing the albums Mia Gargaret (2020) and Romantic Piano (2023). With Singing (2026), her first vocal record since her 2018 debut There's Always Glimmer, she returns to her voice with a new maturity.

Her instrumental album Romantic Piano (May 2023) received 'universal acclaim' on Metacritic, with a weighted average score of 85 out of 100.
