Tophouse

Tophouse are five bearded musicians with mandoline, fiddle and kickdrum who earned their stripes as street musicians in Montana. They then moved to Nashville, where they honed their sound and played sold-out venues across America.

Their music draws from bluegrass, folk and Americana, but they wrap it in a contemporary, poppy package - with choruses that stick immediately. Whether they're on a street corner, around a campfire or on a stage like De Helling's at Rotsoord: it always sounds like coming home.

Support comes from Raynes, a band with a remarkable origin story. American multi-instrumentalists Mat Charley and Joe Berger saw a video of English singer Mark Race, were immediately sold on his voice and called him up. Not long after, Mark was on a plane to North Dakota - a flight he's since had the song tattooed on his arm. Raynes combines folk, Americana, baroque pop and Celtic music, and calls itself 'musical omnivores'.
