Daryll-Ann
American indie band Daryll-Ann performs at Doornroosje.
Daryll-Ann is a Dutch indie rock band formed in 1988 in Ermelo by the Paulusma brothers, guitarist Anne Soldaat and bassist Jeroen Vos. Through the 1990s they became one of the Netherlands' most acclaimed guitar-pop acts, drawing comparisons to Neil Young and The Byrds, and signed to Hut Records (Virgin) in the UK. After six studio albums and an abrupt split in 2004, the original line-up reunited and released Spring in 2024 - their first new record in twenty years - to widespread critical praise.
Daryll-Ann announces a series of club shows in September 2026 where the album Daryll-Ann Weeps will be performed in full for the first time, in honor of the thirty-year anniversary.
The band confirms four anniversary shows in Utrecht (EKKO), Groningen, Amsterdam (Paradiso) and Nijmegen for September 2026.
Daryll-Ann closes the comeback tour with an open-air concert in Slottuin Zeist on 14 August 2025, which TivoliVredenburg announces as the band's last concert so far.
The new album Spring is released on 13 September 2024 via Excelsior Recordings - the band's first studio album in more than twenty years.
Spring receives positive reviews from the press: OOR writes positively and De Volkskrant gives four stars.
