
Hallo Venray - 40 Years
Hallo Venray celebrates four decades with a jubilee concert at Burgerweeshuis.
Hallo Venray is a guitar rock band from The Hague, founded in 1985 by Henk Koorn and Toon Moerland. The trio - Koorn on guitar and vocals, Henk Jonkers on drums and Peter Konings on bass - broke through in the early 1990s with the album The More I Laugh, the Hornier Due Gets and a landmark appearance at Pinkpop 1992. With over fifteen albums on Excelsior Recordings, they remain one of the most enduring acts in Dutch alternative rock.
Hallo Venray performed in May 2025 at the Kleine Zaal of Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Booking agency Goomah Music welcomed Hallo Venray to their roster in November 2024.
On 1 March 2024, a remastered reissue of the album Leather on My Soul was released on vinyl via the Re:-label.
The band toured through the Netherlands in 2024 on the occasion of the reissue of Leather on My Soul, including a performance at Paard in Den Haag.
In October 2022, the twelfth studio album Coffee and Cake was released, which is considered by many to be one of their best records.
