About

Beyond the Black is a German symphonic metal band formed in Mannheim in 2014, built around the powerful vocals of singer Jennifer Haben. Their debut album "Songs of Love and Death" (2015) won the Metal Hammer Award for best debut and launched them onto the European festival circuit. Six studio albums later - the most recent being "Break the Silence" (2026) - they rank among the most active touring acts in the genre.
