Visions of Atlantis is an Austrian symphonic/power metal band from Bruck an der Mur, active since 2000, known for blending male and female lead vocals with lush orchestral arrangements. In recent years the band built a recurring pirate mythology around albums such as "Pirates" (2022) and "Pirates II - Armada" (2024), both of which reached the top 5 of the album charts in Germany and Austria. They tour frequently alongside other power/symphonic metal acts, having shared stages with DragonForce and, more recently, Warkings.
The band released the orchestral album "Armada - An Orchestral Voyage", a fully reworked instrumental version of "Pirates II - Armada".
To promote the new album, Visions of Atlantis tour through Europe together with Warkings on the 'Pirates & Kings' tour, with a concert in Tilburg on 13 February.
Together with the band Warkings, they released the joint single "Pirates & Kings".
The live album and web series "Armada Live Over Europe" was released physically on 4 July 2025 and achieved international chart entries despite its live status.
The ninth studio album "Pirates II - Armada" was released on 5 July 2024 and reached the top 5 of the German and Austrian album charts.
