Brainstorm Festival
The 19th Brainstorm Festival brings symphonic metal and gothic rock to Apeldoorn on 6-7 November, headlined by Roy Khan (ex-Kamelot) and Sirenia's 25th anniversary show.
Sirenia is a Norwegian gothic/symphonic metal band from Stavanger, founded in 2001 by Morten Veland after he left his previous band Tristania. Veland writes and produces all the music himself, pairing heavy guitars and orchestral arrangements with the mezzo-soprano voice of French singer Emmanuelle Zoldan. Across twelve studio albums - from the debut 'At Sixes and Sevens' (2002) to 'Amanita Messis' (2026) - the band has built a loyal international following. 2026 marks Sirenia's 25th anniversary, celebrated with an extensive tour across Europe and Asia.
Sirenia releases their twelfth studio album 'Amanita Messis' in 2026 via Napalm Records.
Sirenia plays two shows in the Netherlands in November 2026: on November 6 in Apeldoorn (Brainstorm Fest, GIGANT) and on November 7 in Sneek (Het Bolwerk), with Illumishade as special guest.
The 25th Anniversary Tour takes Sirenia through China in spring 2026, with performances in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
Sirenia performed at the Dynamo Metal Fest in Eindhoven in August 2025.
Sirenia released their eleventh studio album '1977' on May 26, 2023 via Napalm Records, an album with synthwave and eighties influences.
