Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band from Zwolle, founded in 2002 by keyboardist Martijn Westerholt, formerly of Within Temptation. Blending heavy guitars with orchestral arrangements and synth-driven melodies, they built a strong international following through albums such as 'Lucidity', 'The Human Contradiction' and 'Dark Waters'. A full lineup overhaul in 2022 brought in vocalist Diana Leah, and the band has continued touring and releasing new material ever since.
Delain released the EP 'Dance With the Devil' in November 2024 via Napalm Records, featuring two new tracks and live recordings from the European tour.
The title single 'Dance With the Devil' was released on 5 September 2024, along with a music video.
Delain performed on 16 August 2024 at the Summer Breeze festival in Dinkelsbühl, Germany; the full set was professionally filmed by ARTE Concert.
The band announced a North American headline tour for spring 2025, with Xandria as support.
