Legends of Rock Tribute Festival XL
Four top tribute bands for AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N' Roses and Iron Maiden perform the greatest hits at the Legends of Rock Tribute Festival XL in Eindhoven.
AC/DC is an Australian hard rock band founded in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Known for their raw, no-frills guitar sound and relentless live shows, they have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Records like "Back in Black" (1980) and "Highway to Hell" (1979) rank among the best-selling rock albums ever made. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
AC/DC announced 21 new shows in November 2025 for the Power Up tour in South and North America, with dates from February to September 2026.
The band played a series of stadium shows in Australia in November and December 2025, including multiple nights in Melbourne and Sydney.
The North American leg of the Power Up tour in spring 2025 was the band's first series of American concerts since 2016.
The music video for "Back in Black" surpassed the 1 billion views mark on YouTube, a milestone that only a few rock videos from the 1980s have reached.
The Power Up tour started in May 2024 in Gelsenkirchen and then traveled throughout Europe.
