AC/DC is an Australian hard rock band founded in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Known for their raw, no-frills guitar sound and relentless live shows, they have sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Records like "Back in Black" (1980) and "Highway to Hell" (1979) rank among the best-selling rock albums ever made. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
