Accept is a German heavy metal band from Solingen, active since the mid-1970s. Internationally known for albums such as Balls to the Wall (1983) and Metal Heart (1985), the band helped define the sound of European heavy metal. After several lineup changes and a reunion in 2010, Accept continues to tour with guitarist Wolf Hoffmann as the sole founding constant.
Accept released the anniversary album 'Teutonic Titans 1976-2026' on September 4, 2026 via Napalm Records, featuring re-recorded classics and guest musicians.
Accept announced 24 new European shows for the 50th Anniversary Tour in autumn 2026, with performances in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, among others.
On September 25, 2025, the band announced they had parted ways with their then-current label.
