About the venue

Koninklijk Theater Carré is a landmark theatre on the banks of the Amstel, built in 1887 as a permanent circus by Oscar Carré. Its distinctive circular building seats around 1,750 people and today hosts major musicals, cabaret and international touring acts. The royal prefix in its name reflects a formal recognition by the Dutch royal family.
