Loreena McKennitt (born 1957 in Morden, Manitoba) is a Canadian singer, harpist and composer who weaves world music with Celtic and Middle Eastern influences. She built her career on her own Quinlan Road label and has sold more than 16 million albums across 15 countries. Her three most defining studio albums - The Visit, The Mask and Mirror and The Book of Secrets - established her as an international name. In May 2025 she was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
McKennitt announced a European spring tour of 30 concerts in nine countries for 2027, starting on 22 February in Groningen.
France promoted McKennitt to Officer in the National Order of Arts and Letters for her cultural contributions.
McKennitt announced the second leg of her The Mask and Mirror 30th Anniversary Tour, with shows in Eastern Canada in the fall of 2026.
McKennitt was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
