Disko Partizani! On 6 March, Shantel brings his Bucovina Club Soundsystem to Xinix. Shantel, the German musician with Romanian roots who brought Balkan beats into the mainstream, mixes polkas, klezmer, Slavic chaos, Ottoman grooves and electronic energy into one danceable tornado.

The party couldn't take place in 2026 due to circumstances, but - as the saying goes - what's in the barrel doesn't spoil.

About: Shantel

Frankfurt-based Stefan Hantel performs as Shantel, weaving Romani brass and Balkan folk into electronic club music through his Bucovina Club project - a sound rooted in his mixed Bukovina German, Greek and Ukrainian-Jewish heritage. 'Disko Partizani' remains his best-known record and a fixture on world-music dance floors.
