Sara Kroos - Gelukskoekje (reading performance)
Sara Kroos brings her brand-new reading performance Gelukskoekje to Kantine Walhalla - a cheerful evening about falling and getting back up, about small and large mishaps, about finding comfort and offering it. With the self-deprecating humour she is known for, she sheds light on what is heavy.
She brings her musicians and a stack of fresh stories hot off the press: sometimes sharp, often sweet, never sour. The fortune cookie slip in yours promises: "You're in for a really fun evening with a somewhat clumsy woman with curly hair."
Her previous show Prikkelarme kermis received rave reviews and was nominated in the entertainment category for the Poelifiniario, the most important cabaret award. The press was enthusiastic:
"Sara Kroos makes you laugh and grabs you by the throat with her vulnerable story. Lots of good jokes, atmospheric songs, really beautiful cabaret." - Volkskrant
"She treats us to an evening full of good jokes, beautiful observations, lightness and optimism. Kroos stands relaxed and with infectious pleasure on stage." - Theaterkrant (critic's choice)
"Sara Kroos can shed light on what is heavy like no one else. She stands strong, relaxed and delightfully tells her stories." - Trouw ★★★★
