Margreet Dolman Brings Warmth & Reverend Gremdaat Shows the Way - Paul Haenen and Dammie van Geest

On 1 February 2026, Paul Haenen's character Margreet Dolman turned 50. The anniversary performance at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw in March 2025 sold out in five days - all 2,000 seats taken. Since then, the show has been touring nationally, and this season it comes to Walhalla.

The evening opens with a surprising dialogue between Dammie van Geest and Paul Haenen, followed by Reverend Gremdaat: topical, sharp and full of humour. After the interval, it's Margreet Dolman's turn. She reveals her vulnerable side, sings and shows video footage from her past. The audience can share their own experiences, leading to journalistic conversations full of empathy and humour. Doctor Valentijn stands by her side.

Paul Haenen has performed this show every winter in Amsterdam for over 30 years. With Margreet Dolman, he has created the longest-running character in Dutch theatre history.

Mother's Day Lunch - Before the performance, there is a catered lunch in the Foyer Café from 12:30 at FC Walhalla. Chef Noreen serves pasta, rice or curry, with salad and dessert. The lunch can be booked separately with your show tickets.
