Bon Dia In De Jungle (ages 4-8) - Izaline Calister & Thijs Borsten

Doctor Iza has 100 different animals living in her house. Together with her parrot Sunchi - who always sits on her shoulder - she heals sick animals. Until one day, a monkey with terrible stomach pain appears at her door.

Doctor Iza is baffled: there are no monkeys on the island. She examines what is wrong with monkey Kiko, but finds nothing. Then the talkative Sunchi has an idea: "Maybe Kiko is homesick? You have to take him home, to his parents in the jungle." And so begins a journey full of new friends and dangerous, wild animals.

The performance lasts 60 minutes and is performed by Izaline Calister (vocals/acting), Thijs Borsten (piano/vocals/acting) and Lidrick Solognier (percussion/vocals/acting). Script and direction by Kiki Jaski; music by Izaline Calister and Thijs Borsten. A production by Stichting Parea, in co-production with Theater De Vaillant and Festival De Betovering.
