The Navertellers

The Navertellers is a music programme by six experienced performers who can recount their near-death experiences firsthand.

Eddie, Kees, Paul, Rob, Terts and Toon have found each other as seasoned explorers of the gates of heaven. Anyone can die, but to return to earth after death and create a rousing, joyful music programme about it - that takes a Naverteller. The spirit recalls Werkteater, Parade, Drs P, NUHR, Peter Faber, Theatergroep Flint, Orkater, Frank Groothoff, Bram Vermeulen, the Bayou Mosquitos, Sissies and the film Spetters. No wonder - that's where they come from.

Together they bring roughly 312 years of musical experience and 5,500 performances. After fifty years, they have found each other in this combination, each one having overcome the Grim Reaper and developed a pleasant relationship with death. You're welcome to sing along or dance - dance master Toon is ready. God willing, of course. But that applies to you too.

This is an afternoon performance. Those who wish to have lunch beforehand can join from 12:30 in the Foyer Café at Walhalla. Chef Noreen serves dishes such as pasta, rice or curry, with salad and dessert. A lunch can be booked directly with the tickets.
