Dansblok & KASSETT - KNOOPPUNT

A young woman panics when she forgets a route and decides to store every detail in her memory from that moment on. But as her mind absorbs more information, suppressed memories seem to burst from her body. The creators explore the phenomenon of muscle memory and ask: does the body keep the score? How does our rational memory relate to our physical memories?

The performance combines live electronics and vocals, poetic language, explosive dance and philosophical reflection. KNOOPPUNT consists of two parts: an interactive philosophical conversation led by stand-up philosopher Gerko Tempelman, followed by the music theatre and dance performance.
