Up The Irons

Up The Irons is an Iron Maiden tribute band founded in 1999 in Tilburg, with over twenty-five years of experience performing across Europe. The band played at Graspop Metal Meeting in 2004, 2006 and 2015, in front of audiences ranging from 250 to 25,000 people, and toured extensively through Italy, France, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Their connection to the Maiden legacy extends beyond the stage. They toured twice with Paul Di'Anno, Iron Maiden's original singer, as a special guest. Dennis Stratton, Maiden's original guitarist, has been performing full shows with them since 2016. The Lauren Harris Band - led by the daughter of bassist Steve Harris - provided support, and Steve Harris himself attended one of their Dutch shows in 2006 and praised their performance. The band was also invited multiple times to Steve Harris's football matches when Maiden toured the Netherlands.

The setlist combines Maiden classics with lesser-known tracks, performed by five musicians who are lifelong fans themselves.
