In The Woods: Lynne Hanson

In the Woods is a non-profit sitting concert held regularly at Fort33, dedicated to putting music at the centre of the experience.

This edition features Lynne Hanson, who has performed on the ITW stage several times before - most recently in 2023 alongside Blair Michael Hogan. Hogan is expected to accompany her again. She previously appeared at In the Woods with fellow Canadian Lynn Miles as The Lynnes.

Hanson is from Ottawa and tours year-round. She has won two Canadian Folk Music Awards, released multiple albums and two poetry collections, and collaborated with artists including Gretchen Peters, Steve Forbert and Albert Lee. Her most recent album is Just A Poet; her latest single is Invisible.
