In The Woods: Rosanne Reid

In the Woods is an intimate seated concert held regularly at Fort33, run on a non-profit basis with music as the sole priority.

This edition features Rosanne Reid, one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary americana. She grew up in Edinburgh, was born in Leith, and is the daughter of Craig Reid of The Proclaimers. Her voice - somewhere between Bonnie Raitt and Aimee Mann - can be heard on her recent album Lawside, which sounds more personal and powerful than her previous work. On her penultimate album Trails, Steve Earle appears and described her as "an outstanding songwriter".
