The Fatal Flowers in Openluchttheater Bosspot — FLUOR, Amersfoort
Description was written before the event

After their sold-out club tour in 2019, The Fatal Flowers return to Openluchttheater Bosspot. The performance coincides with the 40th anniversary of their debut album 'Younger Days' from 1986. The band played at FLUOR in 2019, with memorable final shows at Paradiso - and those performances left audiences wanting more.

The stage features the same line-up as back then: Richard Janssen (vocals/guitar), Robin Berlijn (guitar), Geert de Groot (bass) and Henk Jonkers (drums). A new tour had been planned earlier, but the pandemic derailed those plans. Now everything falls into place.

Support acts
Orange Skyline plays with influences from mod bands like The Who, contemporary rock like Arctic Monkeys and indie sounds - performed in an acoustic setting especially for this occasion.

Solex is the pseudonym of singer-songwriter and former record shop owner Elisabeth Esselink from Amsterdam. Her latest album 'Low Kick And Hard Bop' from 2001 - a mix of restrained techno and 'found sounds' from vinyl records, talk shows and street noise - has been re-released to mark its 25th anniversary. This is her reason to perform for the first time in 20 years.

From 18:00 onwards, food trucks will be present at the Openluchttheater. Wheelchair users have access to a limited number of wheelchair spaces via a 'Wheelchair Ticket Openluchttheater'; companions must purchase a separate 'Pre-sale Ticket'. Physical tickets are available at Velvet Music Amersfoort.
