Riza Tisserand

Do you follow the rules, or do you dare to go your own way at the risk of falling flat on your face? Riza Tisserand chooses the latter - and clearly enjoys it. Every time he stumbles, he gets back up with a new joke or a new life lesson.

A notebook plays a central role in his life: he writes down his absurdist musings, which develop into jokes and theatre texts - also for well-known names in cabaret and on television. Sometimes he simply reads from it. Why not?

'According to the Book' is a show about choosing anew every day: do I do it the way it's supposed to be done, or do I do it the way only I can? Lots of laughs, with a touch of philosophy.
