Arie Vuyk doesn't search for meaning but for meaninglessness - and wonders what remains when the core turns out to be simply empty. Is that emptiness still not empty enough?

His quest takes him past toy tin cans, water-pouring masters, weather houses and the medieval version of the smartphone. The encore is called 'After the Standing Ovation'.

Cabaret as it should be: high joke density, beautiful songs, character sketches and light verse - and deliberately not comedy. Vuyk has won three cabaret festivals, appeared on television and performs at home and abroad.
