Songbook Sessions | Echoes from the Sixties

Alexander Broussard brings Songbook Sessies | Echo's uit de Sixties to De Theaterbakkerij in Gouda on Thursday, 1 October. With voice, piano and personal stories, he guides you through the musical highlights of the 1960s - from swinging rock-and-roll to socially engaged listening songs. This is one of seven Dutch dates on which Broussard presents these sessions; after Gouda, further performances follow in Wormerveer, Middelburg and again in Gouda in October and November. The evening combines songs from the decade with anecdotes that place the music in its historical context.
