Bring Me Back Home - Fransche School, Culemborg

Bring Me Back Home is a personal performance by Bright Richards and David Richards about origin, identity and the bond between father and son - about what is carried from generation to generation, in words, in silences, in expectations.

When Bright fled Liberia to the Netherlands at age 21, he left his first twenty years of life behind. Now that David has reached the same age, that story takes on new meaning. The performance combines poetic text, dance and personal stories.

The venue is the Fransche School in Culemborg, part of De Gelderlander Fabriek.
