Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin Over Europe 2027 — Cultuurpodium Groene Engel, Oss

Physical Graffiti has been paying tribute to Led Zeppelin for 17 years, long before tribute shows became commonplace. The band has performed across continental Europe - the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, and even Russia.

The setlist features the great classics such as Stairway To Heaven, Rock 'n Roll, Whole Lotta Love, Dazed and Confused, Immigrant Song and Black Dog, but also deeper cuts like No Quarter, Moby Dick, Trampled Under Foot, Gallows Pole and Kashmir. The show runs for over two hours and is accompanied by a light show with projections and visuals.

The lineup: guitarist Daniel Verberk (Netherlands) captures Jimmy Page's guitar sound with great precision and also adopts his nonchalant playing style. Frontman Andrew Elt (born in England) matches Robert Plant down to the smallest details - the same powerful, dynamic vocal delivery and phrasing. Bassist Dave Harrold (Ireland) is equally convincing as John Paul Jones, with fat grooves and demonic bass lines, alternated with melancholic mandolin. Drummer Jan Gabriel (born in Germany) plays on a Ludwig drum kit with timpani - his resemblance to John Bonham is most evident during Moby Dick. Keyboardist Remco van Zandvoort (Netherlands) provides the classic keyboard sounds on Hammond organ, Leslie and Mellotron.
