Leif de Leeuw and Sem Jansen perform as a duo: two guitars, two voices, and a shared passion for blues, americana, southern rock, and singer-songwriter music. Their set blends well-known songs with original compositions, interspersed with stories and spontaneous musical detours - ensuring no two performances are alike.

Both musicians met within the Leif de Leeuw Band. Leif is regarded as one of the leading blues and roots guitarists of the Benelux region; with his band he won the Dutch Blues Challenge and the European Blues Award, and released albums including 'Where We're Heading', 'Mighty Fine', and the 'Plays The Allman Brothers Band' series. Sem Jansen has built a reputation in recent years as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter in Dutch americana and roots music.

Artists such as The Allman Brothers Band, Little Feat, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young clearly influence their duo repertoire. In the semi-acoustic setting of Cultureel Café De Amer in Amen, there is ample room for harmonies, improvisation, and the joy of playing together.
