Liquid Spirits

Liquid Spirits is a Dutch band playing modern soul, deeply rooted in soul and jazz and enriched with influences from hip-hop, funk and contemporary groove.

Vocals take centre stage, supported by a band that plays with a keen sense of space and nuance. Rhythms, keys and bass lines combine into a layered whole - tight where needed, looser where it works. The songs develop gradually, with room for interaction between the musicians.

Live, this results in a set that moves from understated moments to powerful grooves, without ever feeling forced.
