Koosje

Dutch singer-songwriter Koosje combines her warm voice and vocal freedom with jazz, soul, R&B riffs and lush jazz harmonies. On this tour she is accompanied by Italian pianist, composer and arranger Marco Zago, who brings over fifteen years of international experience in jazz, neo-soul, progressive rock and pop.

Koosje grew up in a theatre family and performed early on in plays, operas and musicals. She studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where she graduated cum laude as a singer, composer and arranger. She has performed with Colin Benders, Ernst Daniël Smid, Steve Reich and Gwilym Simcock, among others.

Her debut album 'It's Time' was released in 2023, featuring contributions from Ruben Hein, Artvark Saxophone Quartet, João Erbetta and Woodcraft. In 2025 she won the Rabo Talent Award and released her second album 'One More', a personal tribute to life's vulnerability.
