Uncle Lucius

Uncle Lucius hails from Austin, Texas and consists of six members who are all songwriters. The band's sound blends influences from R&B, country, soul and rock groove.

After roughly twelve years, the band stopped abruptly in 2018, following four albums and five worn-out tour buses. A farewell tour followed, after which each member went their separate way - but fans weren't ready to let Uncle Lucius go. The group returned with new members Doug Strahan (guitar) and Drew Scherger (bass). Their single 'All The Angelenos', from the album 'Like It's The Last One Left', reached #5 on the Texas Radio Charts, and since then the band has been touring steadily.

In September 2024, 'Live From Ear Studio' was released, a live recording featuring songs like 'Like It's The Last One Left' and covers of 'Bertha' (Grateful Dead), 'Shadow People' (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) and 'Just To Satisfy You' (Waylon Jennings & Willie Nelson). The audience at De Amer can expect a mix of new material and old favourites - the band played here last year as well.
