Unbelievable Truth are a British indie band from Oxford, formed in 1993 by singer-guitarist Andy Yorke - younger brother of Radiohead's Thom Yorke - alongside drummer Nigel Powell and bassist Jason Moulster. Their 1998 debut album 'Almost Here' (Virgin Records) won them a devoted following in the UK and Japan, driven by singles 'Higher Than Reason' and 'Solved'. After splitting in 2000, the band reunited in 2023 for anniversary shows and released their first new music in 25 years, the EP 'Citizens Band', in March 2025.
Unbelievable Truth released the EP 'Citizens Band' on 21 March 2025 - their first new studio material in more than 25 years.
The band toured the United Kingdom in May 2025, including shows in Manchester and London.
On 15 November 2024, a live album from the reunion shows in 2023 was released, featuring the complete debut album 'Almost Here'.
The reunion shows celebrating the 25th anniversary of 'Almost Here' were so popular that the sold-out show in Oxford was fully booked within five minutes and a second performance in London was added.
In May 2023, the band opened new social media accounts, officially announcing the reunion of Andy Yorke, Nigel Powell and Jason Moulster.
