Stevie Nimmo is a Scottish guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from Glasgow, best known as one half of The Nimmo Brothers - the blues rock duo he formed with his brother Alan in 1995 - and as a member of King King since 2020. His solo work under the Stevie Nimmo Trio banner spans albums including 'The Wynds of Life' (2010) and 'Sky Won't Fall' (2016), the latter voted album of the year by numerous media outlets. In 2016 he received British Blues Awards nominations for Best Male Vocalist, Best Guitarist and Best Songwriter.
King King released the album 'Light Up the Sky' on 29 September 2025 - the band's first studio album since 'Maverick' (2020), featuring Stevie Nimmo on guitar and vocals.
King King launched the single 'Strong' on 4 July 2025 as a preview of the new album.
Drummer Andrew Scott left King King in 2024 and was replaced by Jon Lodge (known from Voodoo Six).
