Robert Maché is an American guitarist and mandolin player who grew up in Hong Kong, where the British Invasion of the 1960s shaped his musical sensibility. After moving to New York he became part of the downtown club scene at CBGB's and Max's Kansas City, playing alongside figures such as Klaus Nomi and Lydia Lunch. He joined the Continental Drifters, the New Orleans-based roots-rock band whose critically acclaimed 1994 debut he helped record, and now lives in Memphis, Tennessee. As Dayna Kurtz's long-standing touring partner - on guitar, mandolin and backing vocals - he has built a loyal following in the Netherlands over many years of touring.
Maché performs multiple concerts in the Netherlands in December 2026 with Dayna Kurtz, including in Amsterdam (Zonnehuis, December 9) and Heerlen (Theater Heerlen, December 11).
