Duke Garwood (born 1969 in Kent) is a London-based British multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter known for a dark, atmospheric sound that draws on blues, folk, jazz and psychedelia. He gained wider recognition through two collaborative albums with the late Mark Lanegan - 'Black Pudding' (2013) and 'With Animals' (2018) - and has contributed as a session musician to records by The Orb, Savages and Morcheeba, among others.
Duke Garwood released his new album 'Satin Warrior' on May 16, 2025 via God Unknown Records, with drummer Paul May as a permanent collaborator.
Uncut Magazine rated 'Satin Warrior' 8 out of 10 and described it as 'excellent drone and beats'.
Garwood announced a series of shows on the European mainland in May 2026, with performances in Hamburg, Copenhagen and Aarhus.

The title single 'Satin Warrior' appeared in August 2024 as a preview of the album of the same name, accompanied by a short film featuring a painting on a twenty-meter canvas.
