Downset is a hardcore/rap-metal band from Los Angeles, formed in the early 1990s under the name Social Justice. Their 1994 debut album established them as early pioneers of the hardcore-hip-hop crossover. After a lengthy hiatus, they signed to Nuclear Blast in 2022 and have been active again with new music and live shows since.
